Lionel’s special empathy for the residents in the group home became readily apparent. He moved to another home as a companion/caregiver to one of the clients. He later became a house manager in an apartment complex, and then, a supervisor of that home. He was a consistently hard worker who excelled in problem solving. He was a residential specialist, and then assistant program coordinator. Lionel has also served as Program Coordinator of Residential Services in charge of training other to work in group homes.
